Majority of Americans Want Ukraine to Strike Back at Russia
Sep 6
The latest polling conducted by the Worthy Strategy Group has demonstrated that the majority of Americans disagree with the present Biden administration policy preventing Ukraine from using American weapons to defend against military sites in Russia.
The survey of more than 2,000 American voters in July of 2024 provides critical insights into America's leadership role in the world. Furthermore, the results underscore that Americans believe Russian threats of escalation to be a bluff.
When half of the poll respondents were asked whether they "support or oppose sending fighter planes, missiles, and other weapons requested by the Ukrainian military to defend their country and launch more attacks in Russian territory," respondents’ views were as follows:
Overall Support:Â 65% of all respondents expressed support for sending military aid to Ukraine.
Democrats:Â 87% of Democratic voters are in favor of military assistance, showcasing a strong alignment within the party on supporting Ukraine.
Independents:Â 55% of Independent voters support providing weapons to Ukraine, indicating more divided views.
Non-MAGA Republicans:Â 56% of traditional Republican voters favor military aid, demonstrating alignment with the broader bipartisan consensus on Ukraine.
The LetUkraineStrikeBack.com campaign calls on the Biden Administration to do what most Americans want to see happen: let Ukraine use the tools American taxpayers provided to win a decisive victory against Putin's forces.
